Today's card was made with the Day of Gratitude stamp set. This is the stamp set that I received when I attended Stampin' Up!'s Portland Regional Conference. You can see all the details on THIS POST.
The card base is textured Crumb Cake card stock (6" x 6" to make a 3" x 6" card). Textured card stock is the perfect choice for a single layer card - the texture is just a little something to keep the card from looking stark and plain.
This card is a "spin off" of one of the samples that was on the board in Portland. Never be afraid to copy a project that you love or "tweak" it just a tiny bit to make it your own. That is the fun of this craft - sharing creativity and inspiration.
Well, I will be sharing creativity, inspiration and I'm sure chocolate with my friend and assistant Denise today! We plan to stamp and chat the day away! Simple Saturday fun. Hunting season does have it's advantages. ;o)
