All of these tags were made with our Two Tags Die for the Big Shot and the Sweet Season stamp set.

 
We made these tags at Convention this year as one of our make and take projects.

I just loved how they turned out.  So cute and fun!

Big Shot Flowers

Happy Friday! 

I wanted to share this card with you that I made after seeing my friend, Shelly's, book bag.  I just loved the fun look and the colors and knew they would make a great card.

I used the Birds and Blooms die with the Big Shot for the flowers and leaves and free handed the stems.  I hand-stitched the flowers and leaves with markers and our White Gel Pen.   

 Here is a picture of her bag.  Sorry for the terrible picture quality - I took a picture of my cell phone screen.  ;0)

You can't see it in this picture but there were white stitched flower outlines on the black.  I improvised on my card with dotted white circles.  It is a lot more detail than I am use to but I like the result.

It is a beautiful day here at my place.  So much so, that I have all the windows in the house open to try and clean out all of the sick germs.  All four of us have been sick at one time or another this week.  I'm ready to be done!

Happy Birthday Blog Candy Winner!

Yeah! Today is my birthday!  It has been a very nice day.  It started last night with my husband pulling me into the bathroom where he had drawn me a bath-complete with candles, jazz music and my robe and towel at the ready.  What a guy!  Today, I heard from all of my siblings and my two sisters-in-law by 10 AM.  And, my friend Sarah brought me cupcakes-chocolate of course!  Thanks Sarah.  The only bummer has been that I'm not supposed to be talking much (doctor's orders).  And for any of you that know me, that is a tough request!  I've been sick with a sinus infection and chest cough for so long (2 1/2 mos.) that I have developed asthma-like symptoms.  Yuck.  So, I'm now on steroids, rest and have a "gag order".  So, that kind of limited any coffee or lunch with friends and made the phone conversations pretty short.

But, I did treat myself to a Gingersnap latte and a Cranberry Bliss Bar from Starbucks for lunch since I had to go grocery shopping today.  Yes, I did that one chore today.  Wowza-have you ever had a Cranberry Bliss Bar?  They are amazing!  Thanks Cherie and Phae for letting me in on your little Christmas season secret.  And I'm not feeling up to go out to dinner tonight, so we will be having Pizza Hut delivered.  Pizza-my favorite!

Happy Birthday Blog Candy!

Yes, it is time for some blog candy!  Woo Hoo! 

No, my blog isn't celebrating a birthday - I AM!  Yes, next week is my birthday and I like my birthday. It comes from my mom and my childhood.  From the time you woke up with your cake and presents on the table, to balloons being sent to school, to your favorite thing for dinner - my mom made you feel like a queen all day!  Yes, it does sound a little vain and selfish-sorry.  But I try to make others feel special on their birthdays too!  My husband doesn't get it, but my boys sure enjoy it at their current ages.  I love birthday cake (especially buttercream frosting) too - make mine a large corner piece with a rose!  Though my hips pay for it more and more each year.
