Isn't he adorable? I sure think so.
My downline, Chris, made these for her swap for our Icy Inker meeting tonight. Though it isn't her original idea, she made it super cute and she made one for me! I believe she got the idea from Kathleen Innes.
Mr. Bunny is made from a variety of punches. I love the black hemp twine as his whiskers and how she popped his cheeks and nose with Stampin' Dimensionals. There is also a little cello bag of jelly beans in the box that you can just see it's top.
The greeting comes from the new Matchbox Messages stamp set in the new Occasions Mini Catalog. I love this stamp set!
The dimensions for the box are a piece of card stock 8" x 4 1/4" scored at 3" and 5". The sides are pieces of 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" DSP scored at 1/4" on opposite sides. You create a "U" shape with the DSP and adhere it inside the box shell. Clear as mud?
You can see the sides better in this photo and his cute scallop circle cotton tail.
I so love our group meetings. There are great ideas shared, lots of good advice and encouragement as well. If you are interested in joining us in May to see what being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is all about - please let me know!
This month I gave my group a project challenge. I created packages of supplies as a starting point for them to create a Scallop Envelope Box of their own. I will create mine this week and share it with you. I hope to share some of their creations as well.
Have a great week!
